Hello, students!
My post comes back.
This post will talk about past forms of verbs. Let’s start the learning time!
As we have studied,
there are three types of verbs in English related to different times (present
or past). They’re present & infinitive form, past form, and past participle
form. Most Indonesian people call them as “Verb 1 (for present & infinitive
form), Verb 2 (for past form), and Verb 3 (for past participle form).
This post specially
focuses on the past forms (Verb 2). These types of verbs are used to tell past
activities. Past activities are those happened and ended in past; yesterday,
last week, last month, three days ago, two months ago, last year, etc.
Some examples of past
forms of verbs are:

Some examples of
sentences using past forms:
1. My father watched news program in
television last night. (Now my father doesn’t watch news program).
2. Dina ate fried rice and egg this
morning. (Now Dina doesn’t eat fried rice and egg).
Well, as we have
discussed some types of past forms of verbs in our class, it’s time for you to
check your understanding about them. The following is a crossword of past forms
of verbs. The verbs in present forms are provided as the clues.
Try to
remember our lesson some weeks ago. Also try to complete the crossword without
looking at your book or dictionary. Then, count the numbers of your correct
answers. Good luck!
