The difference between because and because of (although they both mean "karena" in Bahasa) is:
1. Because is followed by a SUBJECT and VERB. (because + S +V)
For example:
- Because the weather was cold, we stayed home.
- We stayed home because the weather was cold.
For example:
- Because of the cold weather, we stayed home.
- We stayed home because of the cold weather.
